Dr. Len Rothenberg and Dr. Greg Ross

The orthodontic practice of Dr. Greg Ross, which has been in South Miami for many years with Dr. Len Rothenberg, has the conventional patient base of
children and young adults.  In today’s climate, however, more and more adults are seeking orthodontic therapy to correct their bite and enhance their smile.

At Orthodontics of South Miami, “with new techniques and innovations, people of all ages have many new options for improving their dental health and appearance,” Dr. Ross said.

For Dr. Ross, utilizing modern technology with the most popular treatments at his South Miami orthodontics practice is only half the battle for the perfect smile. Knowing the state of the art materials and technologies, along with providing a patient centered approach to achieve the patients desires is what separates Orthodontics of South Miami from many others.

In addition to conventional braces, there are many new options without the drawbacks of the traditional metal braces.  Dr. Ross uses Invisalign as the most popular, clear alternative to conventional braces.  For those patients who require a more structured type of orthodontic treatment and are not necessarily good candidates for Invisalign, there is Incognito and Harmony as options.  These technologies utilize braces on the “inside of the teeth” to achieve excellent results equivalent to conventional braces, without being able to see them.  These specialized and state of the art techniques can be employed to give adults of all ages the smile they want.

Dr. Ross was born and raised in South Miami and attended Palmetto Middle and High schools.  Both his father Scott and brother Brad are Periodontists in South Florida.

“It’s wonderful to be near the family and serve the community that I came from,” he said.

Dr. Ross went to the business school at the University of Texas.  He graduated from the dental school at Nova Southeastern University and went on to complete his orthodontic residency at the University of Connecticut.

Volunteering as a staff member at the Craniofacial and Cleft Lip & Palate Center at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Dr. Ross is part of a team that sees patients with all types of dental and facial abnormalities.

“We guide them through treatment, monitoring them throughout their entire lives from as young as one-year old.  Many of those patients will end up having treatment at our office.  It’s just one of the many ways we are able to give back.”

Dr. Ross added he feels that giving back to his community and his patients is an integral part of the moral fabric at Orthodontics of South Miami.

“What sets us apart is our patient centered approach. We like to spend time with our patients and their families, giving them the attention they deserve so we can grow with them and help improve their self-esteem.”

Word of mouth continues to be the primary patient referral base at Orthodontics of South Miami. Dr. Ross stated, “It’s amazing seeing the multi generation of patients coming through the office. The ultimate compliment we receive is when a patient recommends us.”
